Promoted, planned, and organized events and sales through Constant Contact emails, their website, fliers, brochures, menus, invitations, press kits, and press releases. Made substantial content additions and alterations to website through hand-coded HTML. Managed SEO, SEM, SMO, Google Analytics, and Google Apps. Computer hardware, software, and networking support. Mobile device sync and support for iPhone. In the fall of 2010 took on the role of closing manager an average of 5 days a week while continuing marketing duties. Surpassed sales goals by 3%.

Marilyn's Bakery had an existing website, but they wanted a lot more content added to it. Their website needed changing as often as different crops to make specialty desserts were in season, which was very often. Pictures and content were often edited and written by Melessa, herself. Technical support for the bakery's computers and printers were often offered as well. Before events, Melessa would compose an informational email which would be sent to customers on the bakery's mailing list. Those emails were custom built to reflect the same look as the website so that customers instantly knew who the message was from.

Note: changes to the website's color palete have been made since my departure. Otherwise, most of my content remains intact.
